Administrator review comes first
A Microsoft 365 administrator reviews the requested permissions and confirms they match the organization’s access policy. Do not grant access based only on a domain name or a user-provided claim.
Mailbox selection and verification
The setup flow is designed to verify the selected mailbox and its access through the Microsoft connection. A successful setup should not imply access to unrelated mailboxes.
Connection health
Token expiry, permission changes, and provider interruptions can affect synchronization. Before activation, the connection should expose health and recovery paths to the workspace team.
